Mentioned the smoke yesterday. Here is the first shot I took last Wednesday morning, and the same shot “mol” this morning. Similar retouching, but you can see the effects of the smoke masking the mountains.

A trip to Virginia City yesterday, an old silver mining town. Interesting but would have been much more effective if the 1870 buildings weren’t covered up by cars. Not much blogging going on, but a lot of photography and sightseeing. Wednesday we stayed around South Tahoe, then Thursday we drove all the way around the lake, Seventy odd miles, spectacular scenery. Emerald Bay is one of the most photographed places in the country.
